Product Manager- Oil and Gas

Position Summary

This position will focus and be responsible for the development of the Oil & Gas segment at Dura-Bar; driving product marketing strategies and programs consistent with overall business objectives utilizing traditional and innovative marketing/product approaches, tools and methodologies. The position manages the business development process from market analysis to new customer and application development for selected market segments. The Product Manager will be responsible for working with the Sales Manager and Marketing Manager in developing the overall comprehensive strategic plan in the targeted market segments.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors or higher degree in science, engineering, business or marketing with a minimum of
3-5 years of combined sales, marketing and/or technical experience. 
 
Candidate should have a working technical knowledge of metals processing.
 
Experience in sales and marketing of technical materials or customized products that require application development.

Sr. Financial Analyst - Operations

Position SummaryThe Senior Financial Analyst will act as the main liaison between Dura-Bar operational management and the Charter Dura-Bar Finance function.  This position will lead the plant’s monthly cost reviews and will provide operations with the tools and insight needed to reach the plant’s cost productivity goals.  The incumbent will work with each department manager to create and measure department level targets that support the high level strategic initiatives of the division.  The Senior Financial Analyst will provide financial analytics to business partners for key Continuous Improvement projects, cost savings initiatives, and capital expenditure requests. 
 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related business field
  • 3 – 5 years Finance/Accounting or commensurate business experience
  • Prior experience participating and leading in a team environment
  • Proficiency with advanced features of Microsoft products:  Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical skills to gather data from multiple sources and report findings

Electrical Engineer

Position SummaryImprove the reliability of equipment related to automation, controls, and electrical systems. Analyze performance, reliability, and maintenance data to eliminate unplanned outages and reduce the equipment life cycle costs.  Proactively develop a plan and schedule for major outages and upgrades.  Support all shifts with technical expertise, industry standards, and training to enable them to maintain, repair, and improve the plant equipment. Provide troubleshooting support on major problems and facilitate plans to address repetitive and ongoing equipment issues.  Actively identify opportunities for improvement to achieve specific goals and objectives. Simultaneously manage multiple projects and continually drive the team to look for ways to implement process improvements. Apply a hands-on approach in identifying problems that may be improved or solved using automation, hardware design, or data collection techniques.
 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Electrician "B"

Position SummaryThe “B” Electrician maintains and troubleshoots industrial equipment and demonstrates the ability to troubleshoot common equipment problems under general maintenance supervision.  The “B” Electrician is expected to repair all electrical systems, equipment and machinery of the plant facilities in accordance with codes, regulations and specifications, ensuring minimum down time of the plant operations, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Completed an electrical apprenticeship or completed one to three years of trades training or an associate degree from a technical college or its equivalent (Or a combination of education and experience)
  • 3 years of industrial electrician related experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, instructions, safety rules, codebooks and specifications.

  • Ability to inspect electrical systems, equipment, and machines, for possible problems.

  • Knowledge of Drives and motor controls.

  • 4 years of industrial electrician related experience
  • Ability to interpret and apply NEC and engineering regulations on a practical basis

Machine Tool Maintenance Mechanic

Position Summary

The Machine Tool Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintenance and repair of all manufacturing equipment with a general focus on the finishing equipment in the plant.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Advanced understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read blue-prints, electrical schematics and hydraulic diagrams.
  • An in-depth understanding of the application of technical documents such as machine & equipment manuals and safety documentation.
  • An in depth understanding of CNC controls such as Siemens and Mazatrol.
  • The ability to diagnose various sources of mechanical and industrial control related issues on CNC machines.
  • The ability to operate manual mills, lathes, saws, and drill presses.

Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Position SummaryThis position oversees the manufacturing engineering activities which cover development and implementation of manufacturing processes to maintain product functionality, quality and cost efficiency. This position ensures the various engineering activities (manufacturing, process and industrial engineering) and production departments work together cohesively by providing good process control, product design, product lifecycle management, material workflow, people utilization, scheduling and capacity planning. This position will be responsible for the key systems including: Manufacturing Execution System (MES), APQP database for quoting and launching new product, Production Reporting database, Process Improvement Investigations, Engineering Change Orders and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) master item Bill of Materials (BOMs), routings and tools.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Metallurgical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of design or process related experience working in a foundry or metal processing factory.
• Drafting and CAD skills. • ERP, MES, and Product Data Management (PDM) database experience.

  • Manage process control databases that are integrated with operations and implement automated systems (MES – Production Shop Floor).

  • Iterative product development leveraging established capabilities and technologies to launch variations of current product lines (manage APQP quoting and launch processes).

Process Metallurgist

Position Summary

Improve and develop existing systems for reporting and analyzing data.  Oversee the activities of all shifts of the lab operation.  Collect and communicate product, process, and quality data.  Recommend and implement process improvements regarding quality and efficiency based on detailed analysis.  Ensure all quality procedures are carried out and effectively work with production to meet customers’ expectations while meeting production demands. 
 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgy/Materials Engineering or related degree.

  • Two plus years’ experience working in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve issues related to production and product quality.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with various levels of an organization.

  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills with multiple functions and levels within the business.
